It was nice to meet family and friends (though really nice, kind of hard at the same time). The kids had such a nice time and had a lot of fun. Marisa and Rich had a lot of cute things for the kids to do (ok us adults got in on the kids activities as well) and it was nice. I was sorry to take the kids from having so much fun, but considering it's not even 8 and they are both in bed.... I would say it was def. necessary!!!! These kids are all cousins and enjoyed themselves... of course Jordan found some boys to play with, but they were not cousins.... lol
Perhaps the funniest was meeting my cousin, Chris and his family... he can't get over how much my aunt and I look alike (his mom) and that I look more like her daughter than he or sister look like her... apparently we even use the same number on our hair this month.... lol she took her glasses off tho. We are all pretty close in age and would be great to actually begin to hang with cousins my age.
Thank you to Marissa and Rich for a lovely time, thank you to Aunt Lorraine and everyone for helping to make us feel welcome and thank you to PM for not only the recipe but the encouragement to go outside the comfort zone to explore new things and people.May tomorrow morning be a Spectacular Spiritual Sunday for everyone.
