9.23.12 Evening

I have officially made two crumbly apple pies from scratch...YAY!!!! The best was that the father of my children arrived to bring the kids home from their dinner when I was making it and he had many things to say.. most of which I could not repeat.. lol  Let's just say he wanted to know who was influencing me and how "she" got me to become domesticated... He couldn't even handle that I made the dough from scratch.. I smiled and said yup!  Pretty darn proud of myself... I know, I know all I did was follow directions... really if you do not know me, I REALLY should be on that show "Worst Cooks in America" ..
Today was an adventure.  Mackenzie was GOOD in Church... she kept telling sweet Betty not to talk... to which everyone around us kept laughing... I kept wanting to say "kettle calling.." She was even good when I went up to the teacher installation.  I only heard the kneeler bang back once (I am pretty sure PM heard and smiled, knowing it was Mackenzie..)  After coffee hour, I went up to meet my team partner...I am K-5 and special ed certified..... This experience has solidified I do not want to get middle school endorsements.... lol God Bless all those who "love" that age... really one hour of Sunday School and I know I made the right decision in K-5... (really I always wanted P-3)...lol I laughed afterwards when Mackenzie went and said goodbye to PM, I went over and said Oh I need a hug too!!! and I whispered what was I thinking? To which she replied, in the perfect tone, "it's only once a month?" lol And that's why I left laughing...
Thankful the JETS remembered how to play this week and pulled it out... :-)
