But I will be with you.
You will pass through the rivers,
But their waters will not sweep over you.
You will walk through fire,
But you will not be burned,
The flames will not harm you. - Isaiah 43.2
When we feel as if we are "in over our heads," we can take refuge in the fact that we are not alone, we shall be lifted up as to keep the water from going over our head. When we feel as if we have come "to the end of our rope," we can feel the hand on the other end, pulling us to safety. I have my reasons for saying all of this, but for now all I can say is perhaps the end is near.
My dear friend is about to go camping with her grandson.. This to me is SO AMAZING.. Not only is she going with a completely torn acl, SHE HATES CAMPING!!!!! This inspires me!!! She is such an amazing mom and grandmother, this is what I wish my mother, would have done for my children.
Dear Heavenly Father,
As we lay our heads down tonight, I thank you for your unbelievable grace. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to serve you. Please watch over Luke, Peggy and Basil along with all the other grandparents and campers. May Bob, Kenny, Peggy, Ellen, Carol, Kelly, Robin, Fran, Brendan, and Aunt Lorraine remain in your healing prayers. Thank you for lifting Jordan above the waters, May Robin feel your gracious hand at the end soon.
Amen
