Super Saturday has arrived. I am so grateful I was able to accomplish the tasks needed to be done first thing.. . We arrived home just as the storms rolled in.... only got two drops on me!!!! :-)
I am even more grateful I found the open freezer door (never closed all the way last night about 7pm) I was able to salvage some of the meats. Most of the other things sadly had to be thrown out (I especially hate that feeling of wasting food when so many do not have any!!!) My children were sorry and for that I am also grateful. Everyone learned an important lesson... I am now cooking as much of the meat as possible and will then have them in the fridge for this week...... What else should we do on a rainy day..... relax, cook, and watch the Olympics?! and NO, I still have not remembered the flashlights while out at a store...lol Please power, stay on.
