Cranford is and will always be my home... No matter where I am...Today started out with a call from a dear friend (Stella) from Cranford... I wore the necklace from another dear friend (Lainie) from Cranford, I wore the sundress my "momma from Cranford" (Betsy) and I both bought, and then I had dinner and drinks with another dear friend (Kathy) from Cranford.. The evening is most definitely what my friends ordered... having a wonderful meal (eating crab cakes and liking them) and wonderful conversation with such an amazing woman... really brightens the mood... I am so grateful to have such wonderful people in my life... My entire life... These people have known me longer than any other friends I have... No, that doesn't make them old... just makes them even more special. They have watched me grow and evolve into who I am today... I appreciate everything they say and love learning from them.
This is my friend, Kathy... we have known each other for over 25 years... In those years, our relationship has evolved and grown... Feeling apart of her family for all these years has been a real privilege. Tonight she provided me with a much needed release and I am eternally grateful... Hearing the story of how much she meant to another child, brought back such memories of what I felt growing up... What she does not understand is that for every e-mail she receives, there are at least 75 more a year that have not reached out, but feel the same way... Thank you for putting girls, their confidence and self esteem as top priority. You are AMAZING.... thank you. Wishing everyone a Tremendous Tuesday....
