6.2.12 Evening

Tonight we officially became members of the Holy Trinity Evangelical Church in Manasquan. After the service a woman came up and said she can't wait to attend more services with Mackenzie... she livens it up.. That she does!!!!! I understand I need to not react and to accept she is not yet 5.  With that being said... I am so grateful for everyone at Holy Trinity!!!!  My reactions to Mackenzie's behavior goes back to how we were expected to act in church growing up and I am working on "lightening up" - Going to take a little bit more time. 
It was so sweet to be standing with my friend and my children and feel welcomed.  Jordan and I received Bibles and Mackenzie received bed time Bible stories.  Tonight the three of us read a story from her book and practiced a prayer together, it was a sweet moment. Especially after how awesome they were out to dinner thank you GMPK, BK, EK, & AK for such a lovely dinner and wonderful company :)
So as I said I am so thankful for such wonderful people, I am also thankful for this opportunity to help teach my children in a way that I wasn't.  Hope you have a Super Spiritual Sunday!
After I ask permission, I will post a picture from after the service....with the woman who I speak of often who speaks so eloquently and with such a way that it makes everything make sense, PM!
