My day started at 4:45am.. I tried to go back to sleep for a bit but it was no use.. I was grateful to wake up and to see the sun coming up. It was a very bright sun when we left Va. We left at 6 and then had to drive back so really left at 6:30... Next time, I will double check that I grabbed all bags before pulling away... darn computer was still inside...lol I am so grateful to have my little navigator helping me along... the sun was so bright it was difficult for both of us to catch the signs at some point.. THANK YOU, Jordan!!! We made it home and safe back to NJ and just in time for 10:30 service. I do not know what I was thinking other than if Mackenzie took a nap on the way home she would be ok to sit through it... IF she took a nap :) Another lovely experience of Mackenzie in church... and people coming up afterwards to ask how old she was!!! I am grateful to have a Pastor who keeps encouraging me to bring her.. otherwise we would not be there!! I would have been too embarrassed already to go back.
I am grateful for the chance to thank my children's father, without him it wouldn't be possible to have them and I am grateful... Happy Father's Day to all those who have touched a life in a fatherly way... Lastly, I thank God, for welcoming myself and my children into his family. As I said it was very bright this morning.. all of sudden the sky grew darker....This picture was taken on 95 as we came around a bend, it was amazing to see the sun beaming down through a cloud... Jordan and I both gazed at it and quickly took a picture... Perhaps it was symbolic that no matter what is going on... God is there to shine light through the darkness? Have a Spiritual Sunday.
PS... GOOD Luck to our dear friend in his ALL STAR GAME TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! and Have a wonderful vacation to PM... you will be missed!
